For the kids

We’ve had a few questions about where kids can sit and what we’ll have for them to do at our wedding. We applaud our parent friends for planning ahead, but:

To ensure that all our guests can enjoy the ceremony and reception, and to give the moms and dads a date afternoon, we’re not hosting children at our wedding.

Leave the kids at home and come enjoy a carefree afternoon at Piedmont Park!

Leave the kids at home and come enjoy a carefree afternoon at Piedmont Park! (This is Kelly’s brother David and Kelly on the first day of school, 1992.)

We realize finding child care in a city where you don’t live causes parents some extra work, so Kelly is happy to work with you to find a babysitter in Atlanta. She knows some trustworthy college girls who will be available in August to come to your hotel room and play with your munchkins while you are cutting a rug on the dance floor. Send her an email at k.donovan [at] ufl.edu to let her know your child’s info and she’ll put you in contact with a babysitter.

You are more than welcome to bring some photos of your kids to show off to your tablemates. We love seeing how much they’ve grown since we last saw your family!
