Our engagement photos are in!
Kelly’s talented friend Mark came up to Atlanta the last weekend in May to take our photos. We are so grateful he did because his visit gave us the chance to become comfortable with having our photos taken in advance of the wedding, and now we have these wonderful images to remember this fun chapter of our lives.
Without further ado, here are some of our favorites:
Is it time for breakfast yet?
The scene of the engagement!
By the Lake Clara Meer overlook in Piedmont Park.
On the 17th Street footbridge, which we later found out is private property and professional photos are not allowed. Oh well!
At the base of the Millennium gate on 17th Street, where we got engaged.
Just for fun. Jason’s pretending to play his game while Kelly pretends to roll her eyes. In real life, this actually happens.
Role reversal. Jason can pick Kelly up, so she wanted to carry him, too.
In front of the Midtown skyline by the Piedmont Park active oval.
On the footbridge over the 17th Street pond.
Sittin’ in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G.

In the faaaaaace!
This was not planned. We were waiting for Mark’s next instructions. But it came out funny.
On the bank of the 17th Street pond.
Look closely and you’ll see my ring around the SunTrust building.
Next to the Millennium Gate on 17th Street.
We caught each other!

26.2 miles of running and pain, followed by a sweet reward.
Thanks for visiting Atlanta to take these photos for us, Mark!
