Marriott Suites Midtown

The Marriott Suites Midtown

We have reserved a block of rooms at the Atlanta Marriott Suites Midtown, located at 35 14th Street NE. Rooms are blocked under the Donovan/Clark wedding for $126 per night. Self-parking is an additional $25 per day. (Bummer, we know, but all Midtown hotels charge a parking fee.) This rate is good for Aug. 8 through Aug. 10. Come early and hang out with us before the wedding!

Click here to go to our Marriott reservation page and book your room. You can also call the Marriott at 404-876-8888 to make your reservation.

The $126 rate is guaranteed only through July 11, so book early and book often!

If Marriott doesn’t fit your style, here’s a list of other Atlanta hotels you might enjoy.

In addition to the wedding itself, there are so many cultural, historical, and sporting sights to see in Atlanta. From Midtown, you’ll have easy access to these attractions:

Georgia Aquarium Contains the world’s largest aquarium, the Ocean Voyager.

Turner Field Braves host the Washington Nationals the weekend of Aug. 8-10.

World of Coca-Cola One huge ad for Coke, but the tasting room is tons of fun. Military members are admitted free.

Centennial Olympic Park, the center of the 1996 Summer Olympic Games.

Atlanta Botanical Gardens, located within Piedmont Park.

Tasty restaurants we recommend:

Mary Mac’s Tea Room (famous Southern food)

Cafe Intermezzo (European-style sidewalk cafe)

Marlow’s Tavern (upscale American tavern)

Antico Pizza (the best pizza you’ll ever eat baked in ovens imported from Italy)

Einstein’s (not bagels, this is a local restaurant known for an excellent brunch)

The Flying Biscuit Cafe (southern food)

The Vortex (18 and up only, huge burgers and a full bar)

Gilbert’s (also called “G’s”)

Zocalo (Mexican)

The Varsity (Drive-in diner. Right on I-75, you can’t miss it. Especially because they yell “What’ll ya have!” at you as you walk by.)

Other Midtown points of interest:

The Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta (tours available)

The Margaret Mitchell House (house of the author of Gone With the Wind)

The High Museum of Art (closest attraction to the Marriott)

The (Fabulous) Fox Theater
